AI Leadership Program

Built for those who build the future.

AI is changing business models at breakneck speed. All of us — and leaders in particular — need to keep pace and actively shape the future. AI Shift Lab puts leaders at the control center of that change. Born out of ÖBAG's AI platform together with 11 leading Austrian companies, the program aims to strengthen critical future capabilities for companies and for Austria as a business location.

The Facts
15–20 leaders ·8 modules, half-day to 1.5 days each ·Oct 2026 – June 2027

AI Shift Lab goes far beyond an AI training.

Together with a peer group of AI frontrunners and international experts, it guides your own AI transformation with practical knowledge, relevant case studies from real business practice, and personal coaching. Built for senior leaders who see AI as an opportunity and want to actively shape the change process in their own area of responsibility. The goal, beyond building up-to-date AI capabilities, is translating them into measurable business advantages. The focus is on how AI can best be used in your own area, how to take the next practical step, and how to navigate the inevitable setbacks — or get back up quickly after one. By the end of the program, AI should have visibly and measurably moved your own team, processes, and results forward. And because no change is easy, the personal journey and your own development are just as central, accompanied by peers from other companies facing similar challenges and opportunities.

Content

AI expertise: how to start a transformation, scale it, and lead change management.

Experience

See AI in action at other companies — learn from their wins and mistakes.

Work

Apply it directly in your own company and drive AI forward.

Coaching

Ongoing leadership support, peer-group learning, and self-reflection.

The program is interactive and built on the "Field and Forum" principle. Across 8 hands-on, in-person modules of up to 1.5 days each, you learn and practice content, methods, and practical tips together with your peer group. International leading experts with hands-on AI transformation experience, as well as from the academic AI and technology space, contribute relevant content, while methods for implementation in your own area are practiced and tested. The modules are enriched by exchange with peers from other companies, as well as self-reflection and coaching.

Between modules, what you've learned is carried directly into your own organization, with the program moving step by step and leaving enough room to adapt to participants' actual needs and each company's specific challenges. That's why the content from Module 5 onward is deliberately developed dynamically as the program progresses.
